Proverbs 16:9 NASB says,
“The mind of man plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.”

As many of you know, our plan since being married in July 2010 has been to move to Mozambique to work with IRIS Ministries for 2 years.  After prayerful consideration and processing with the counsel around us,  we believe the Lord is directing us not to move to Mozambique for 2 years. We have had several confirmations that parallel this decision and we have now been released to annouce it publicly.

We are set to go to South Africa in September and after that we will head to Mozambique for a shorter season, most likely a several week/month long visit.  As far as our plans after we return from Africa, well, we have had a couple of  new opportunities laid before us. Both require us to relocate from our current home in Mount Joy, PA. So, we are still processing and hearing from the Lord as to His direction for us at the end of 2011.

We deeply appreciate your prayers. As you pray for us please ask that the Lord would reveal His desired direction for our lives, continued blessing upon our ministry,  for additional financial support to get to Africa and for our transition at the end of this year.
